There is nothing that excites me more than art, music or photography. I never knew what it meant to be passionate about something until my mind was opened to the arts. Not only was I able to understand more of myself, but I was able to make the connection between everything else I see in the world.
Having lived in Taiwan, Belize, and the United States, I have had opportunities to be exposed to various types of art and culture. It has never ceased to amaze me how diverse and yet interconnected we are in our desires, hopes, and needs. And a medium such as art or music provides the platform to unify us collectively, or inspire us individually. This always leaves me with utter wonderment and curiosity. Therefore, it is my passion to bring closer to the audience, that sense of mystery and hope through my art, music, and photography.
For many years, I taught general art and music on the elementary level, as well as photography and design on the middle school level while offering private music lessons to preschool through adult age students. Whenever possible, I made time for freelance projects and commissions.
Currently, I work as the director of Campbell Learning Center, a Fine Arts & Culture center offering music and language immersion classes to students of all ages and backgrounds in the city of Houston, Texas.
